The Roots of Our Journey
Our journey began when I started transporting logs to Sacramento for milling into lumber for my own projects. I soon recognized the convenience and potential in having a sawmill of my own, marking the start of an unforeseen adventure. During a separate trip to Sacramento, I found myself near the Woodmizer dealership and seized the opportunity to explore their range of sawmills. It was there I made the decision to purchase an LT50 Super Hydraulic Sawmill, a choice that not only secured a personal supply of lumber but also laid the groundwork for Old Lake Mill and Lumber Co.
